Moving forward...

Just a little more to go to complete the entire PTTF class schedule campaign so it can be marketed freely. The January classes are almost 100% maxed. Awesome!

I have had some time to digest what I learned from all the websites I saw this weekend. Mostly they were designed more as a presentational portfolio. Most marketing techniques usually employed by a site were not put to use with 90% of the top 100 sites I saw.

Right now I am looking for people who have a product I can market for a commission. I am really enjoying this marketing I have taken on this year. I can see some potential for financial growth by finding high margin products to sell for a great win-win gain for both me and the owner of the product.

I especially enjoy the creative process of designing a user friendly step-by-step web visitor experience. Now I notice when I am at a website where the flow from one page to the next is not obvious or a link takes you to a page that is confusing once there. It reminds me of teaching music to elementary school children. It was fun developing a sequence of steps and lessons that could take them from never playing an instrument to playing almost flawlessly within a few weeks 30 minute sessions. There was fun and ease and a high level of learning accomplished through the process.

I would like to apply this skill to creating wealth now. I'm sure I will before long.

Hmmm.... what is the first step for that? Choosing a path maybe? I will think about this and let you know...

Getting ideas...

It looks like I've been missing here for a few days! Been "out of pocket" as they say. Went down to work on David J and Cheryl's column and fireplace. It's going to look very interesting when complete. They have such creative ideas. We're doing a design similar to a Celtic knot type carving but with a few nuances like on a stone look instead of on wood for example.

I rode my bike on some traffic-free streets around Lake Lanier Thursday. It was beautiful and very enjoyable. I want to do this more regularly. I love being in beautiful outdoor settings like that. Playing golf is another example of it.

Yesterday I looked through at least 500 websites about faux finish to see what the latest trends are on the web as far as design. I picked out about 100 I thought had at least one feature I loved that was the professional level I like. I noticed I really felt relieved whenever I visited a site that had some text with its graphics. I'm thinking about why the text was so grounding. Right now I believe it is because it keeps my mind from having to guess or wonder about the image. If I have a question, the answer is right there. I like that.

I'm pretty excited about the class schedule campaign I have designed for the six month class series at PTTF. It looks different than anything I saw on any of the sites I reviewed. I like that.

Moving right along.

Today was very productive. I got the descriptions of 20 personality traits of highly creative people onto our website. Check it out at http://www.SoaringCreativity.com

I rode my bicycle around Lake Lanier for 30 minutes. Not bad for my first time out. Will increase the time and the speed as I continue to ride more often.

I was offered a second chance to participate in buying and selling notes. I don't know if I will get to take advantage of the opportunity, though. It's up to Dave at this point.

A colleague of mine in the real estate investment arena contacted me today. I will contact him tomorrow about some possibilities of us working together to sell a great educational real estate program. More about that later...

I'm signing off for now.

To our success!

Creating the marketing campaign

Major progress is being made for the faux painting class schedule for the next six months. You can check out the link to one of the seminar pages here if you like http://www.paintinthetown.com/Classes/Unleash_Creativity/ It's one of my favorite pages we have created so far. There are 23 classes in all with pages that are relevant to each class. When everything is complete, I'll share the link for the landing page where you can go to all the pages and see the artwork of it all if you like.

I played the piano a little tonight and enjoyed it immensely! I haven't played music in so long, I just played something very basic and played it slowly. It's amazing because when playing music, no matter whether you play at the right tempo or not, the sounds are beautiful. I enjoyed it so much I decided I will periodically play that same piece every day until I can actually play it up to tempo. I'm actually an accomplished flutist, not pianist. The piano piece is called the Music Box Dancer and was popular on the radio in the late 70's or early 80's - not sure which.

It seems whatever I am doing at any given moment in time, I LOVE doing, whether playing with small children, playing music, speaking at Toastmasters, faux painting walls or doing internet marketing. I am thankful for the diversity of it all!

Be in your passion,
Juanita

On the path... in the quest

Today I am "undecorating" the holiday decor. It was inspiring to see it every day. It is nice to be in the midst of festive lights and candles.

Now it is back to business so to speak. I am enjoying the internet marketing I have been doing for the past few months. I have jumped into copywriting as a result.

I think I will study copywriting even more deeply and make a career of it. It seems to be something that could merge and make a difference in any venture I take on. Almost everything we do will go faster and better with inspiring words to move it along.

Inspiring words are so powerful. With such tools, we could create almost anything we want for ourselves and our lives.

And THAT inspires me!

Have a wonderful day!

On the path...

Today was relaxing. I read a little from Let's Get Real or Let's Not Play by Mahan Khalsa. The title says it all. It is great information for creating a powerful and practical win-win proposal to work for a company.

I'm looking for people who want to create something unlike anything that has ever been created before. I want to play with an economic solution idea where everyone wins. This possibility would make the free enterprise people happy - non-government income source and the socialism people happy - everyone winning.

And the people dependent on social security wouldn't have to worry if it goes away because this solution gives them even more than that did!

Who wants to play?

Happy New Year!

Design Your Income Source And Make A Request

Are you sitting around wishing for a certain way you can earn income, but doing nothing about it? I invented the internet marketing job I have right now. Just observe how you can make a difference for a company. Write up a porposal for the benefit to them that you can be in your certain area of expertise and offer a payscale. If you truly can show how the business owner will benefit enough to make your request worth it, you will surely be hired based on your proposal.

When you write your proposal, be very specific. List measurable results and how those results can be measured. Set up the initial agreement for 90 days. Then negotiate a permanent arrangement at the 90 day point. Do this especially if you are a beginner in the area proposed even though you may know you will do an excellent job regardless. After 90 days, you and the business owner will both have a more realistic idea of what is required from you and the value of that work.

NEVER do something you do not love doing. There are just too many opportunities out there to be miserable in life. Doing something you do not love robs the opportunity from someone who would love doing it.

Design the life of your dreams at work and at home. You get a say in it so speak up.

It's a great year in 2005!

On the path...

Many people are in the quest for making their millions. Are you on the path? Where is your path taking you? How long have you been on this path? What resources are you using to find your path if you are not already on it?

Brainstorming has been one of my favorite techniques for moving forward in areas of my passion. Brainstorming might also be called "conversation" with others. The old adage definitely applies here: two heads are better than one (and more are even better than two!)

I am certainly moving toward my dreams now and you can, too. Do you have great ideas but do not take action? That is my best area of expertise with people. If you want to get moving toward the ideas and dreams you already have in mind, contact me and let's get you moving toward them. Time's a-wasting!

Happy New Year!
